County of West Pasco
Florida's Gulf Coast
West Pasco
West Pasco County is an active community of cities, surrounded by beauty. It is a county filled with southern charm and hospitality. The 2007 US Census Bureau estimates the population of this county at 462,715. It is the 38th fastest growing county in the U.S.
On the northern most border of the county resides Aripeka, a quiet fishing village. Residents enjoy fishing and boating in the town’s many inlets and bayous. Just below Aripeka, where homes line the Gulf Coast, lies the city of Hudson. Port Richey and New Port Richey are located south of Hudson, and are the earliest settled towns on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The Port of Richey has more waterfront than any other city or town in Pasco. And New Port Richey is the only city along the West Pasco coast with a growing downtown business district and unique retail shops.
